Glycerin
Draws moisture into the skin (epidermis), keeping it strong, soft and supple. Although first discovered in the 18th Century, Glycerin is still considered the gold standard of moisturising ingredients and is the reference to which all humectants are compared.

I love this foundation. It doesn’t feel as if you’re wearing anything. I can build it up to cover some sun spots. It doesn’t pill or crease. The skin care ingredients in it are an added bonus.

I can’t say enough good things about Lisa Eldridge’s foundation — it’s truly a game-changer. I’ve tried almost every prestige and drugstore brand foundation out there, and nothing compares to this. First off, the shade match is absolutely perfect, which is no small feat. The finish is the most realistic, skin-like texture I’ve ever experienced — it doesn’t sit on the skin, it becomes your skin.
I’m 54, and this foundation feels like silk — weightless, breathable, and incredibly flattering. The medium coverage is spot on: it seamlessly conceals my hyperpigmentation and broken capillaries while still letting my skin breathe. Even better, it doesn't cling to my dry spots or settle into fine lines, which is a rarity for mature skin. And the staying power? Incredible. It lasts all day without touch-ups, keeping me looking fresh and radiant.
Lisa Eldridge has absolutely nailed it with this formula. If you’re looking for a natural, elegant finish that enhances rather than hides your skin — this is it.

What a beautiful foundation. It looks so much like skin you hardly know you’re wearing it. However it does offer coverage which I would say is light to medium. Modern formula which means it won’t cake, split or oxidise like previous offerings by the big brands.
It’s expensive but worth it with the shade range offered, you can tell that a lot of R&D went into that alone. I was worried about choosing the right shade online but I guessed correctly based on my own opinion and that of findation, which is a great tool to get help from if you are struggling. The beauty advisers will of course assist you by email, should you need help. All in all, it’s one of the best if not the best foundations on the market if you want to look polished but like yourself (not wearing a thick mask of makeup). Those who prefer full coverage may not find this enough however.

First foundation I have ever been happy with . A little goes a long way and looks so very natural ,mostly I just use down the centre of the face or just where I think I need it.
