Housed in a limited-edition golden case, the Diorshow 5 Couleurs eyeshadow palette reveals powder shadows engraved with an exquisite royal pattern.

  • What It Does

    Celebrate the holiday season in gold with the limited-edition Dior eyeshadow palette. Each palette of 5 non-creasing eyeshadows is presented in an opulent golden case for the first time, and features powders engraved with a royal design created by artist Pietro Ruffo for Dior.

  • How To Use It

    For a natural eye makeup look:
    1. Apply the medium shade on the entire mobile eyelid with the sponge applicator to open up the eyes.
    2. Then add definition by applying the darkest shade along the lash line.
    3. Highlight with the lightest shade beneath the brow arch and at the inner corner of the eye to widen the eyes.

    For a sophisticated eye shadow look:
    1. Apply the medium shade on the entire eyelid with the sponge applicator to open up the eyes, and then the darker shade along the lash line for definition.
    2. Blend over the entire eyelid and outward using the blending brush.
    3. Use the sponge applicator to highlight with the lightest shade beneath the brow arch and at the inner corner of the eye to create even greater contrast and structure.

POOR VALUE / PLASTIC CASE / DUSTY SHADOW

Very disappointed, returned. Super pretty as shown, I wanted to love this! It was expensive, but seemed like the kind of thing you treat yourself to, being in the nice gold case. Well, I'm not sure when the cosmetic companies switched from metal cases to plastic, but that seems to be the norm now and at $79 for an eye shadow compact, not worth it at all! So the plastic case made it not worth it, and sadly the eye shadows were so pale when applied there was hardly a difference in the colors. I guess several applications are required but even with single application, some of the color wound up like dust (looking like dirt) on my cheek bone, so it did not stay well on the eye area. I guess it needs a primer first. So I can't imagine applying more shadow wouldn't cause dust to wind up on one's face. And just for the record, I do know how to apply make up. Sadly "drug store" eye shadow rivals the quality of this pretty to look at case and palette that just doesn't deliver!

Christmas treat

The colours are beautiful and not as dark as they look in the pictures, or the palette. I have a fair skin and they are fine for me for day time use. I like that they are satin rather than the awful glittery shadows that seem to be everywhere. The taupe shade is gorgeous and I wish it could be a regular colour, but preferably in a single, as I don’t tend to be able to use all the colours in a palette. I would have given five stars rather than four if the other colours were just a bit more useful.
