The memoir was interesting at the beginning but felt very bragadocious the remainder of the book. After the chapters about her awful and traumatic childhood, she recants how they were so poor but they manage to buy and sell several homes in DC. Again, money so tight but managed to buy a food shop in the Hamptons. Meanwhile Jeffrey is killing it in the Finace world in Japan. Finally, she gets to buy her dream apartment in an exclusive neighborhood in Paris, do major renovations, including buying a $65,000 La Cornue stove, ... My point is she is not the person we see on TV. Or she has grown likeable in her old age.
