Description
Inside the barrel drum of the Hot Wheels Color Reveal 2-Pack are two 1:64 scale Hot Wheels cars covered in special Color Reveal coating. For the initial reveal, fill the drum with water and swirl each car in it until the water changes color, then pull the car out to reveal its sweet deco. To change its appearance again, fill the drum with icy cold water and dunk it in for yet another awesome transformation! Change it back by dunking it in very warm water. Alternate between icy cold or very warm water to repeat the color shift. The barrel drum doubles as a Hot Wheels dunk tank, and it's also perfect for storage! Each two-pack is sold separately, subject to availability. Styles, colors and decorations may vary.

A: As far as I can tell there are 10 different cars available for 2022. There were 24 different cars in 2021 (2 different sets of 12 cars were released). It seems like the 2 cars you get are random.

I love buying these for my toddler. He enjoys getting the color off and then playing with hot and cold water to change the color. Honestly, keeps him busy for 45min on his own besides having to change out the warm water a few times. Tip: once the paint is off, use ice with water, not just cold tap water. Especially using for the first time to change the colors of the car. If it still doesn't work, put the car in ice and in the freezer for a little bit. That also has helped.

The outer layer of paint that is supposed to wash away will stain clothes. Additionally neither car changed color in warm or cold water after washing away the first layer of paint. Got ripped off.

These are terrible. They were painted on in a glittery color (wheels and all), and upon putting them in water, the paint came off in flakes and that was all there is to it. No back and forth color change, basically two cars that were covered in washable paint. Can't believe this awful quality was from Target and not AliExpress/Temu
