Extremely strong scent, Smells like tobacco, cigars, rotten fruit, and a hint of vanilla. It’s so intense and offensive and I never even lit it! Will be returning.
Best vanilla candle
Honestly another win from Diptyque - such a great fragrance on this line. Really different from other vanilla scents and not sickly sweet. There’s a lot of depth to this one and almost a smoky quality? Sooo up my street, long lasting burn and great projection - really fills the room

YES YES YES!!! EVERYTIME YES. diptyque are a NO miss brand. every scent i have had of this candle remind me why i will pay the hefty price tag time and time again. this smells DELICOUS. it's not as sweet and sickly as a lot of vanilla scented items. it's got a musky strong smell that is DIVINE. your entire house will thank you for this one.

Quality
A really lovely good quality candle - not too sweet and more of a spicy vanilla. Subtle but does fragrance the room without being overpowering. A great scent for Autumn/Winter and goes well with the Ambre room spray (and also Space NK own shimmering spice diffuser). As with all Diptyque products it is expensive but you get what you pay for. Lasts well, smells great and looks good.

Perfect bathroom candle
The diptyque vanille candle is the perfect candle for a bathroom. Upon lighting it filled the room with the peaceful scent of vanilla and even my partner commented on the lovely aroma. This would be gorgeous in any room but for a lovely bubble bath on a dark night it is perfection. I would definitely recommend this candle.

After 12 years it’s still in my top three
If a candle was to smell of hot passionate intimacy (That is certainly not the vanilla we think we know…) then this candle is for you.. . It smells deep and complex - it’s only delicately sweet - do not expect a sweet boring typical vanilla candle, this is anything but that, it’s woody, leathery, deep Ambre and actually goes well lit next to Diptyques ‘Ambre” candle or room spray. I wish they did this candle in large. Simply Devine

In love!!
I don’t know what to expect except a non gourmand vanilla. I am absolutely smitten with this scent! It’s a woody sexy vanilla. I even bought a back up! I was searching for a fragrance similar and found it in phlur’s vanilla skin. Such a stunning scent profile. I can’t see myself tiring of it ❤️
